floral design

Hi, do you know where I can take a floral design class? I would like to focus on modern/contempory designs...not at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design, the location is too far for me. Thanks!

Hi Catherine, I've only recently joined this forum and saw your question. If you haven't registered for a floral design course as yet, you might want to look into the courses at Seneca College. They have part-time courses (Saturday classes, I believe) and also courses for managing and operating a flower store. I live in Pickering and took classes at Durham College. I would recommend those classes also. Good luck.
